Advancing Innovation in Diagnostic Imaging

Amy Avakian is a transitional year resident physician pursuing a career in diagnostic radiology with a background in biochemistry. She wanted to start this collaborative initiative focused on radiology, artificial intelligence, and deep learning, to connect students and physicians through shared opportunities, interdisciplinary research, and mentorship. Outside of medicine, she integrates creative technology such as virtual reality and 3D modeling into medical education and clinical practice. She is a VR enthusiast who believes that creativity and compassion should remain at the heart of patient care.
